Hi guys,

I sold my 18-Plate Mustang GT last June, for basically what i paid for it brand new 3.5 years earlier...

I've been looking for its replacement ever since, and finally found it last week...

She's a '68 4.7 V8 Coupe, from Texas and restored in 2014. This has basically been my dream car for the last 20 years, so i'm over the moon to own one, finally!

The pictures don't do her justice...!

Out with the new...

Wow! Congratulations! She's a beauty

Looks like a great restoration, engine bay looks awesome! Any plans with it, or will you keep as is?

Cheers - yeah she's in really good condition. I bought it from a retired mechanic and he's done quite a bit of fettling under the bonnet.

Plans... first on the list will be a set of Wilwood discs i think... the stock brakes are just dangerous tbh...! After that, i'm not sure. I know its sacrilegious but i'm not enjoying the anxiety of driving an old engine running on carbs, so i may consider an engine swap long term... LS3 perhaps, but that wont be any time soon. Or i might leave well alone...
