New day, new update...

Metallicar with gloss black stripes fixed.

Can I ask what size are those stripes ? Been to see someone today and can't decide upon a size or colour !

They are Forgestars own recommendation offset, 53mm. Worked out pretty well.

Before I put them on, I did a rudimentary weight measurement of a rear (using bathroom scales - very scientific!)
The tire and wheel combo were 55.8lbs

Thanks, that sounds like they're a S550-specific custom fit. I love the way that if you look at them square on they give the impression of ultra-lite spokes but seen from an angle like in your pics they are deep dished. In other words a double win

Didnt go down the cheapest route. Had the stripes imported from Bigworm Graphix. Then, had them fitted locally to me. Fit and finish are fantastic.

When are you gonna get some good pics? Even with phones these days, you can take a picture of a car, that gets the whole car in, with the sun behind you and a half sensible back drop.

Then and only then, can we say. Yeh, nice car mate, Loving the wheels.

So, get out in front of an abandoned pub (theres a few of those) or a field with sheep grazing in (fewer) and get some good pics on here!

Look better than I expected, but come on man you can do better with the photos, you cannot fit such sexy wheels and then take such junk photos. ;)

Very interested to hear how you feel if the car accelerates noticeable quicker on the lighter wheels or not?

I know the handling/grip is going to be insane due to the wider and lower profile tyre, any loss in ride quality at all with smaller tyre wall.

Sorry for questions but it is interesting to know, in theory a smaller wall tyre will result in a harsher ride, but because you've shed so much unsprung mass it could actually be more comfortable so be good to know from a UK owner on our poo roads.

For an 11" Rear wheel they sit well in the arches.

Glad to hear you will be lowering it. It will transform the Mustang with a lower stance.

Have so much on I literally wheeled the car out of the garage, took some shots and wheeled them back in. Drove it for the first time today since putting the wheels on (week and a half ago!!!)

Haven't really felt much difference in ride quality. Although the profile is smaller, as the tyres are wider then stock, the overall wall height is only slightly less (very slightly on back wheels).

Looking at ordering the BMR springs tonight

Just another quick update:-

Literately just purchased a Solo Performance Mach XV cat back through Team Beefcake racing.

Looking forward of receiving this, getting it on the car and listen to the music it produces. If you haven't heard how it sounds, there are plenty of vids, and although you can only get so much from one of these vids, they still sound awsome.
