I removed the decklid panel to replace a few clips and now I'm getting the "Backup camera not available. Contact dealership." message. I bought a new camera, in case I broke the original, but that didn't work. I have an appointment at the dealership, but they can't get me in for another week. Am I overlooking something simple? I did the master reset within MFT settings, disconnected battery, etc....nothing has helped.

When I had my deck lid replaced, it came with a new camera. The dealership had to program the computer/module to read the new camera.

Same thing happened after installing FP deck lid and issue occurs when weather's hot cause cable wrap is kinda loose. Check the cables inside the trunk. I noticed that when I open the trunk the camera cable is kinda stretched. My temporary fix is pulling or pressing the cable. :D

Thanks for the advice. I tried it, but no luck. I guess I'll be at the dealership this week.
