Anthony is right for once, Livernois' results are much more impressive than this car's results. Of course, there is the issue of sustainability, but that is not what is on the table here. This car is essentially a purpose built drag car. If this car had been running around and running these times before Livernois had run their numbers, I would probably have skipped the EcoBoost as I would have figured it took quite a bit of work to get one into the 11's.

Agreed like or not like Livernois , they seem to have figured out how to get to 11s pretty easily, I am running their tune with an intercooler which I believe is key I guess I'll find out soon enough, your pass Mike with 7 degrees pulled out and high iats imho would have been 11's that pass along with Livernois results were a factor for me, I do wish Shaun was tuning for this car. I enjoyed working with him on my 13

I asked Shaun more than once. He said no. He said he had enough trouble with his own EB F-150 that he could not see tuning these cars. Shaun is very meticulous and studious, which is why my 2012 had almost 80,000 trouble free miles, and over 50 full on passes, with his tune on board.

Cant even compare the 2012 EB f150 engine to this Brand new 2.3 EB.. Totally different brand new built from the ground up engine...

Who is comparing? He said the EB strategies were difficult to tune and he did not want to play with them.

They are different engines. However, the tuning strategy used by Ford for the entire EB line is similar.

No question that ANY 4 cylinder running into the 11's is impressive. And thank you Anthony, Mike and David for the compliments we appreciate it. But we also ran 11.80's with the 3.15 rear end and not 3.73's. I am positive that we would have crushed our own time with those gears.

We are currently working on a performance shortblock and a fully built performance longblock...as well as a few other exciting mods that will "boost" the progression of the 2.3L.

Shaun is a pretty well known tuner for the Coyote platform. Livernois has said it a lot, not every tuner understands the EB. That is why people recommend them, Cobb, and Unleashed so much. They have a solid history tuning the Ecoboost platform.

I'm just hoping my 3:55's and intercooler will bridge the gap from you using race gas which I am not

The logic in the new ECU's are quite a bit more tricky than their predecessors.

1.They can take more out and replace/upgrade more stock items on this car.
2. They will be a lot faster. These were the first runs.
3.11's out of a factory sealed 4 cylinder engine and stock trans is impressive regardless.
Some gave up or had unrealistic goals early unfortunate but true .There are going to be some very fast eco's this summer.:headbang:
I can't wait for some updated runs from some of the vendors
