Android powered Stereo for 2020 S550?

Going to upgrade the stereo (4 inch base stereo) to one with CarPlay, etc. I’ve used models by T’Eyes in previous cars with great results. About $409-450 for that.

Wondering if any of you have found a solid alternative that costs less than that?

I paid $550 for a universal dash kit. Is that a media player that doesn't require a kit?

I had the 4 inch in my base GT... upgraded to a Dynavin D8 and I love it...
Been over 3 years and its doing just fine in NY winters and summers.

D8 has been replaced by the D9, im sure its just as good if not better.

Installed it myself too, though it was a bit challenging.

I think it was like $650 with a discount code?

Yeah, looks like they all just jumped in price by quite a bit.

Ended up buying one from a forum member. Utilizes the Sync module, which helps integrated the stereo. Very pleased with it. Nice having CarPlay!
