Has anyone found a good connector to attach to the pins on the back side of the mouser amp connectors? I have tried a couple different pin connectors but they keep coming loose over time.

Also is there anyway to get a little more volume out of aftermarket speakers? I have 2 Pioneer mini GM-D1004 amps mounted in place of the factory amp. One powers the rear speakers and the other powers the fronts in bridged mode. I have already adjusted the speed volume compensation to the max. I have the 9 speaker system also but the center channel is no longer connected. It sounds great at max volume without any distortion but I wish it could get a couple notches louder.

JBL GX-602 - Rear Deck
JBL GX-302 - Front Mid tweeter
JBL GX602C - Front Woofer and pillar tweeter

Doesn't look like you can adjust the gain on those mini amps, I think you might be SOL.

I used a dab of solder on each pin... kind of a pain in the ass, but I wanted to make sure they weren't coming off.

Given that there's no distortion at max volume, the only other option is to turn up the sensitivity on the amp(s). Other than that, buy speakers that get louder (max SPL), assuming they are appropriately powered.

They do not have a gain knob :( Is there any sort of external device that can go between the amps and stereo that will allow me to do this or is my only option to replace the amps with something else? I really liked that both these amps fit into the stock location.

As far as wanting it louder,it is going to need more power.I started with a JL Audio 600/6.

It was good at 75 watts a channel, but needed a touch more.
Now I am on the Helix P-Six that has 120 watts a channel, plus time alignment and EQ adjustments. You need more power to play louder.

The pins you show in your thread are pretty much what I have already used. I have had to fix them twice because they have come loose and lose sound out of the tweeters. I switched to 4 pin connectors that I stole from an old computer PSU and that works a little better but it still tries to come loose. Maybe I need to try some of that epoxy stuff you used.
