I have a friend that hit a guy on the 405 freeway in California and police were going to charge until they found a suicide note on him.

I dont have these things on my car. I have a MY '17 export model. Some features Ford decided to skip on us, atleast 'till the refresh came out.No collision alert with adaptive brakes ?
This is just normal in Copenhagen. Nothing extra here. Speed limit is 50kph.pedestrian boozing on a Friday. That looks like a complicated segment of road and the speed limit should be set to around 15-20 mph. Undivided road, bus lanes, and a lot of people and bicycles. In addition to the pedestrian, if that bus started into a left turn, it would have been a bad day for the Mustang or the bicycles if you swerved.
This is all normal here. Except for him crossing the red light like that. People do it all the time, but stops on the median curb/middle of crosswalk.looks like you were going too fast for that environment honestly..you have to expect these things![]()
Speed limit is 30MPH. And I was a little under that yeah.He was driving approx 25-26 MPH, not sure what the speed limit was on that stretch, but come on...seems perfectly reasonable.
Not how it works here, if there is a light. And he had a red light, I had had green. This is close to the famous Christiania, so I guess he's just a super stoner. Looked like one to me.Is he in a marked crosswalk? Where I live, pedestrians in a crosswalk have the right of way.
This is how it is here too.Since he was crossing traffic at in intersection, it’s likely a timed crossing and if it’s a “do not cross” signal, traffic has the right of way.
Most intersections on major roads are this type of setup. If a pedestrian gets hit crossing while traffic has the right of way, it usually doesn’t play in their favor in the eyes of the law.
Unmetered crossings, yes, the pedestrian always has the right of way and oncoming traffic is expected to yield.
This is in densly populated FL, so it may vary by state and certainly in suburban areas. The OP is in a different country, but probably similar rules.
I had to google search Christiania and it appears they prefer weed, bicycles, and buses to cars. 30 mph speed limit is too fast if there is a lot of stoners out after dark dashing across the street dressed in black and gray. I would avoid driving on that road. Not how it works here, if there is a light. And he had a red light, I had had green. This is close to the famous Christiania, so I guess he's just a super stoner. Pedestrians in a crosswalk have the right of way, IF there is no lights.
Yeah it is. I'm not gonna feel any better about running someone over even if it's his fault entirely.I don't know but it's always bad form to run over people, lol
Well, there aren't many places where it's okay to hit pedestrians no matter the circumstance. But if they're jaywalking, yeah, that's going to be a lesser charge if any.Is he in a marked crosswalk? Where I live, pedestrians in a crosswalk have the right of way.
I'm 38 and have never heard of a 'two beers at lunch national law'. But it's a funny story to tell...About Denmark.they love their booze.wevset up a manufacturing location their and union said had to have a free beer vending machine.esch employee got 2 beers at lunch national law.and we were making very complacted optical fibers.
(not even need to hide it in stupid brownbags). But we don't end up raging alcoholics. We have the swedes do that for us.
what dashcam are you using? This is how it is here too.
They actually started to put up signals with seconds counting down for the pedestrian. Both for the red and green lights. Think they have started that project in the most pedestrian-busy intersections, and I've have seen it around schools too.
Our traffic is different from the US. We have so many bikes and pedestrians here. Cars are super expensive here in Denmark, so most ppl don't have cars in Downtown Copenhagen.
