Recently I found my car's windows rolled down unexpectedly at night. This has happened 2 or 3 times these two weeks. One thing I could think of is my second key's battery just died, but I am not sure this would result windows go down. Do I have to reset windows? I recently fixed my leak problem, and this issue scared the crap out of me.

I am the only child, and my parents aren't messing with me. I highly suspect the dying key fob was the reason.

Anyone in your family taking the car for a joyride and forgetting to roll the windows up?

if you hit unlock twice and hold it on the 2nd time it will roll down the windows I think

Yep I found that out the hard way myself. Found my windows had 'rolled down' after I parked the car at work not long after buying my 18" .. I thought that maybe I accidentally lowered it..

Next time it happened I knew something was going on and RTFOM ....

Is there a way to roll them up with the fob?

I wish holding the lock button down would roll the windows up, but for some reason that is not possible. Maybe they think someone could get the arm crushed on accident or something, some liability reason probably. You also cant roll the windows down after you remote start the car I found out, and you cant remote start the car after you roll the windows down.

Very unlikely
Any shot that someone in your household is using the fob to lower the windows just to mess with you.

And yes, you can reset the windows. You might also have your dealer check for any electrical shorts in the window system.

I tried this trick this afternoon. But it's not the cause. They should be able to roll up.

Only child here, and my parents aren't the type who would pull a prank. I took my spare key fob, which I only used for no more than 10 times, apart since the battery only lasted a few months longer. If it happens again, I will reset it. Thank you sir.

My wife's fusion can open and close the windows as well as close the moon roof. I have yet to try it with the mustang
