just had another look at my contract, and its a 2016 car that was ordered so wont have any recourse with the dealer about getting an earlier model. They had mentioned it would be a 2017 but its a 2016 so no sych 3 but thats no big deal.

Hi Guys

Whats the fuel consumption like your EB? Mine was 10.5-10.8 in the first three months. However it has increased to 11.5 in the recent weeks. is this too high?

In response to Louey001, I live in regional NSW running on 95 octane and consistently recording 7.6 litres/100 when out on the highway and 9.6 to 9.8 around town. I started recording these figures after 1500klms. You should be doing much better than the figures quoted.

Only run 95 and a recent trip to Tweed Heads we covered 2000km all up with highway driving usually not under the speed limit and some round town driving got 8.1 put only what the car said, not calculated

Thanks guy

I have been using 91 for the last few months. but surely the difference in fuel economy is not that big right?
May be i should try 98 from now on.

I'd try 95 first. 98 might bring your anti-knock sensor into play. I've ran cars that supposedly can run on 91 on 98 and you get a little bit of knock. Older tech cars, though.

Hi everyone, I picked up my 16 Ecoboost last week. Ordered Sep15.
I'm really happy with it, great car to drive with plenty of grunt..
I will be doing a few mods staring with the Roush CAI and side scoops (already ordered)
Then COBB accessport tune, downpipe and exhaust and finish off with a MAP intercooler and catch can.

It will take you several months, if ever, to wipe the smile from your face when driving your Mustang. I have had my Shadow Black EB since March and I am exceptionally impressed with the overall package. I have never driven a car that creates so much attention when out and about. If you are considering a cat back exhaust system (which I had fitted 2 weeks back), consider the Xforce Varex System which represents great value for money ($1650AU fitted) and produces an aggressive racy sound. Happy Mustang motoring.

Looks great mate, please let me know what you think of the exhaust and the tune on the accessport. I haven't heard of anyone in Australia with the COBB Accessport tune on their ecoboost yet. Also how much was postage for the lot?

From Lethal Performance $273. We were quoted about $800 from CJ's.

Getting it fitted on 17th August:)
