Thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for us Ecoboost owners.

If you own or have ordered an Ecoboost, please post below. Would be great to see how many of us there are.

Also do yourselves a favour and join the Ford Mustang Ecoboost page. Some great posts on there and it's a great resource.

Not sure if a thread such as this previously existed, couldn't find one after searching. Apologies if one exists.

I've ordered one, I came close to buy a WRX but the Mustang came on top :)

Theres alot of concern about the earlier 14/15 ecoboost blowing up over in the states. I'm leaving mine pretty much stock only the exhaust and CAI that im touching.

I've one on order, Ruby Red Fastback... But no doubt I'll be changing the colour, as my lock in date approaches.

My Magnetic Convertible left Baltimore on the TIJUCA today. Ordered back in January last year, and it's been a long, painful, frustrating wait not helped by the attitude of Ford Aus. I came close to cancelling my order, in fact went so far as to tell the dealer that he needs to work on refunding my deposit because I was done, but he talked me off the ledge.

Now that I'm on the home stretch (again, because I was supposed to take delivery in December before Ford realised they had lost my order) I'm hoping that the wait has been worth it.

I am sure that I will struggle to wipe the smile from my face once I finally get behind the wheel!

Wow sorry to hear about the stuff around. Not long now and all will be forgotten hopefully.

I was secretly hoping they'd discontinue Ruby Red when they dropped DIB and CO. Alas, no such luck. :headbonk:

Does it take that long for an EcoBoost now?
From what I believe, early deliveries of EcoBoosts were suppose to be quicker, due to special component supply issue for the RHD GT versions, so some later RHD EcoBoost orders took a lot of early GT places due to this,
mine did, ordered March 2015, delivered Christmas eve 2015, a 9 month wait.

Maybe Ford USA have sorted the RHD GT component supply problems now and order placements are now in correct order.

I was told 12 months when I ordered her. Good thing I don't actually NEED a new car and it's just my toy. :headbang:
