When i run out of tread what tires will be all season and matching set with the correct tire sizes? It is a daily driver and i dont drag race, commuting mostly. Every now and then i will get on it but nothing unusual drove gt's since 2003.

I just went the all season route on my GT with the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06. I'm running a square setup, though - 275/35-20. With the PP wheels, stock is 255/40-19 and 275/40-19. Some people square up the PP, but you still can't rotate them w/out wheel spacers. Another good option would be the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+.

I've got the DWS06 on my PP wheels too, perfect for winter use in the PNW.

DSW06 on my 20 inch squared set up. Awesome tire. Never have I had an issue in about 6,000 miles.

Just did my first rotation and the rears were wearing very nice.

If you run square tires on the staggered wheels, you can still rotate them mid-life. You just need to have the tires dismounted/remounted to rotate. Dismounting/remounting and balancing should cost $40-$100, but you may save some money after you factor in tire life.

Running a spacer on the fr is almost of no consequence...you're right there anyway, take it off, put it on...it's a non-issue.
As far as tires, two mentioned are great, alos the BFG Comp2 A/S is a very strong performer. I haven't decided yet which all-season will replace my PZero's.

Conti DWS06 is the popular option
Think they'll do ok for HPDE? I just bought them since I won't be tracking the car much, but I might do the occasional track day...

Agreed, but at the moment, I have one set of wheels and we're getting near the end of summer. Can't really fork out the cash for 2 sets right now. Next year, I plan on getting a set of track wheels, and I'll keep these for DD. But assuming I stay around 7-8/10ths, I should still be able to go out and have fun without worrying too much, right?

They will do then, the conti dws sidewall is a tad soft but it works.

In the same boat here. Changes in income and storage are keeping me from doing a winter/summer seperate wheel setup. I also heard the pzeros can still crack when stored in cold temps.

As of right now it looks like all seasons are on my short list. Im not tracking the car but i do like to stretch its legs here and there on back roads. I will need it to handle the north east winters and some snow if needed. I obviously wont be going crazy on snow days, and i keep my sportier driving for dry days. Are the contis the tire for this? I just need something to keep me planted on bad weather days and wont surprise me when i decide to test things out.

BFG G-Force Sport Comp 2 should be a decent all around tire.
