All-season tires

Hello gents,

I am hoping for some feedback from those of you that switched to Ultra high-performance AS tires for your GT350. I have used Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 in the past with success, but they don’t offer stock sizes. I do not track at all, just spirited back roads on nights and weekends And I’d prefer to drive in the winter occasionally on a sunny day in the 40’s without fearing for my life…

If you have switched, please let me know what brand, size and your feedback. Thanks!

Why not run a set for winter and a set for summer? I am not a fan of all season.

I know mines only a GT, but really enjoy The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S4.

I tried driving my GT350 in 40 degree Ohio weather my first fall, and was terrified. The stock Cup 2s became like ice cubes, could only go about 50mph on the freeway safely. I switched to Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 plus 275/40/19 fronts and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S plus 285/40/19 rears based on a recommendation on this forum, and absolutely love them. No tramlining, great traction for the street, and I can drive in 30 degree weather and even very light snow without worries.

The second set that I have on my stock wheels, are the Continental ContiWinterContact's. They ride really well. I don't actually drive mine in the winter, so they just sit in the corner of my building sulking

I'm on Mich AS4s, 285/40/19 squared. I love them. Still have enough grip for spirited driving around town but don't make me nervous in the cold and rain, plus the little bit of extra ground clearance with the 40 sidewall makes it much more daily-able. I have another set of cup2s I use for HPDEs, but otherwise I keep my AS4s on and they work great.

Not using all-seasons here, but I do run a winter tire for colder temps so I don't have to park my car for five months out of the year. I have Michelin Pilot Alpine PA4s 295/35 square on a set of stock GT350 wheels. I run same size PS4S summer tires on another set of stock wheels. If I couldn't do a summer/winter setup I'd probably run the AS4s in 295/35 Sq. That size works fine for me just street driving.

So you can run the 285/40/19s on the stock base Gt350 wheels? Im looking to run same tires but want to keep stock rims? no fitment issues?

Yeah, those are on the stock base GT350 wheels. no fitment issues, though I suppose the rears are a tiny bit stretched. its not noticeable at all though, and no issues with the tire/wheel fitment on the car mechanically.
