I didn't see MT-82-D4 listed anywhere in there. Is it possible the MT-82 is out?

Must be your McDonald’s. Mine looks like this.....When's the last time you got a McDonalds burger where the cheese was squarely on the damn thing? People everywhere don't give good quality anymore. I admit to not being nearly as snappy at ordering parts at work as I did 10 years ago...and it's computer work!! lol.
It must be that quite a few others agree with you and that's why Ford is discontinuing FiST and FoST. I like my FiST quite a bit. My last tank I got nearly 29 mpg driving it in a similar fashion that got me 17 mpg in the GT350. Seems pretty good to me.I've already owned Ecoboost's from Ford, and we all know they don't come close to living up to the word "eco" in any way and I wasn't very impressed, at least not with the FiST or the FoST platform's which you now cannot even find new in the good ole USofA. My next new daily driver car is likely gonna be either Japanese or German because I'm just plain tired of buying stuff that comes to me new with such profoundly easy to solve issues that year after year don't seem to ever get solved by Ford.
My complaints over the 2 ST's I've owned are more in line with at 6'5" 225 I'm just too big, and too old to be in the cars comfortably. Pillar posts in the way with seat all the way back was an issue I could never get used to, but again, someone smaller than me likely wouldn't have that beef. I also was pretty turned off at the paint jobs on both cars, the FiST especially, but both suffered from the lack of complete paint job in the hatch areas, and underhood, but for the price I might be asking too much these days. I ran E30 in both cars so my not so "eco" complaints were really my own doing too. Mostly I sold both cars due to my size and my inability to relax in the cars, especially on the highway next to much larger vehicles.I didn't see any good engines on the list. Maybe I missed something?
Hoping to see the 5.2 CPC extended to all Mustangs and future GT350/500 with a 5.8 liter V8.

I noticed that as well. No mention of the MT-82, but it does mention the 10R80 getting upgrades.I didn't see MT-82-D4 listed anywhere in there. Is it possible the MT-82 is out?

Isn't the MT82 made in China? These are USA plants only.I didn't see MT-82-D4 listed anywhere in there. Is it possible the MT-82 is out?
Good point. Kind of a lapse in thinking on my part. Since i didn't see it listed i assumed it wasn't one of the transmissions being offered, but just not being assembled in the USA makes sense. Bummer.Isn't the MT82 made in China? These are USA plants only.
Transmission and Driveline operations
Livonia Transmission — $100 million investment
Sharonville (Ohio) Transmission — $130 million investment
Van Dyke Transmission (Sterling Heights) — $400 million investment
Rawsonville (Ypsilanti) — $60 million investment
Yeah you keep saying that but you don’t know what future mustangs will be like. But that's not what a Mustang is.......and it'd sell in such small quantities. Ford just needs to polish the recipe it already has for a great looking, relatively spacious 2+2 with a couple of engine choices, one of which needs to be a V8![]()
I agree the ergonomics aren't the greatest for a larger person. I'm similar in size to you.My complaints over the 2 ST's I've owned are more in line with at 6'5" 225 I'm just too big, and too old to be in the cars comfortably. I would be very surprised at that one. Paired with 3.5L ecoboost, sure. The 2.7L EB moves right smartly even in the F150 (empty, not-towing) which was a surprise. The V8 will probably be available as a $5000 upcharge like it is on the F150 for a couple years and then no longer offered as take-up collapses. The rumour is the hybrid will still retain the V8.......best of both worlds!
I was thinking of 3 new cars under the ford banner, a 4 door version of the mustang they could call the falcon, a larger 2 door called the torino, and a 4 door version of that called the fairlane. Then lincoln could do their own spin on a couple of those.Interesting. This is a new one, What are you thinking? A new Cougar?
