I decided to do this for two reasons: First, the GT350 steering wheel is on my shopping list plus I already have the contrast stitching elsewhere from the factory. Second, my sunvisor warning sticker removal didn't go as well as I had hoped so I was considering solutions to cover it up.

I reached out to RedlineGoods, due to their popularity here, and we worked this out as a development program project.

I'll warn you, this is not for the faint of heart, but more on that later. PICS!

Sorry, i'd embed them here but I can't find functional bbcode to resize the images down. Anyone care to help me with that?

So here's the deal for anyone that likes this and wants to pursue it.

First, not sure what it will cost you. I'm still wrapping things up with Redline but I've asked that question. I paid $65 to ship the visors overseas and I expect to be out at least $100 for the alcantara. This price does not include labor+profit for them. They do have cheaper fabric options.

I expect this will only be worthwhile to folks willing to dump ~$300 for a subtle interior mod.

Second, my shipment was hung up, I presume in customs, for about 2 months. Sunvisors are a luxury you don't appreciate until they're gone. I commute towards the sun and it sucked. You will want to have good sunglasses and a billed hat to emulate their function. Otherwise, it's a major safety risk driving without them.

Third, Redline didn't want to deal with the process of cutting out for the garage opener or vanity mirrors. I did this myself in an evening, it's not rocket science, but be aware that you'll be cutting holes in their covers after you receive them. You'll also want some spudger tools to tuck the fabric in at certain places for the best look.

Redline has instructions on removing and reinstalling the visors that I wrote for them. I expect they'll have that on their site if they decide to take additional orders for this.

P.S., remember it's "silver" accent stitching to match a 2016 interior. Not 100% sure if the 2015 was silver or white.

Happy to answer questions.

The fabric looks so loose, as long as you like them!

Not a bad idea, and looks to have potential. Regarding how loose the Alcantara is, no way I could pay ~$300. If it was more tailored to the sun visor I could consider ~$200.

Isn't there a local shop, or at least one closer, that could do this?
