Alcantara door panels

I have a base GT with cloth interior. I want to remove the door panel inserts and recover them in Alcantara. The cloth seems to pick up white smudges from where your elbow rests against them, and I wanted to use Alcantara anyway. Do they bolt on from the inside of the door panel? I think I'll buy some Alcantara material and recover them myself. Doesn't look like any kits are available like this yet.

The door panel inserts are plastic welded on. You need to either melt them off (with a soldering iron) or using dremel them off. To re-attach the insert you'll need to use a special type of screw with a large flat flange on top.
