Just woke up to my car alarm. It's 1am. I peek into my garage to see the alarm has stopped but my cars lights are still flashing. I don't think anyone is in there. My key fob is on my nightstand far away from anything touching it. Any ideas?

The only time I have heard my alarm was when I had the windows down and doors locked. I was at a car show and someone stuck their head inside the window.

I'm not even sure what else could cause it.

I went out this morning and looked around. Nobody in my garage and the car was locked up. Definitely lost sleep over it lol

I set mine off twice when the keys were in my pocket. Panic button must be being hit.

In your case.... ??

It could have been mice...or a ghost. LoL....mine is sensitive to strong winds...it will go off when it's breezy outside.

My car is always locked and inside a sealed garage. No mice... No wind. And like I said keys were free from anything touching them. Can a low battery cause the alarm to go off? I don't think mine is low but just throwing it out there

Haha. Nice man! I just had to comment on this part, lol. Would be absolutely sure before coming to the forum if I were you man :D. Hope you get the issue straightened out. Not too sure as far as your question goes. I'll leave that to someone else.

Maybe someone with loud exhaust drove by? That has happened to me in parking lots and parking garages...

Mine went off one night all nestled snugly in the garage. Either a) it was an electronic fluke or b) one of my cats walked across the panic button on the fob on the kitchen counter top. We'll never know for sure, but it has not happened since.

Mine did this the other night. I had the keys in my pocket at the time and just assumed I must have hit the panic button. Although I'm pretty sure I was sitting perfectly still when it started to go off.

Happened again last night at 2am. Keys again were on the kitchen counter... Button facing up and away from anything. Alarm goes off for about 30 seconds and then shuts off. Annoyed at this point... But still no idea why this is happening
