My airbag warning light came on and stayed on. I took it in to the dealer this morning and they found the wire harness on the side curtain airbag handn't been fully seated. They snapped it tight and the light went off. Seems to be resolved.

Maybe your car was built on a Friday, an hour before closing time, and the workers were rushing to close up and go home that they did a rush/half ass job.

I hope mine is this easy to fix and the dealership is capable of finding it. My car had 55 miles on it when driving it off the lot it threw the Airbag Light.

My car went in for service this week for same thing

2700 miles since January.This was first issue and rubber in the door jam was defefective

They had it corrected by end of day
Getting the rubber in door jam on Tuesday.
Very happy with my car/Ford and the service dept.

Mine is at the dealer for the second day trying to track down to cause. I've only had the car a week so this is pretty upsetting.

Mine ended up being the passenger side seat belt retention. My car was in the dealership 7 days............. Wish ya luck buddy

It took them 7 days to figure out the problem or was some of that time waiting for the part? I'm on day 3 now.

1 day to find problem and the rest waiting on parts

Got mine back today. Ended up being a faulty driver side restraint sensor. Took them four days to find it.

I am having a similar problem, but it only shows up on hot days after my car has been sitting in the sun at work. I guess I have to head to the dealer if I can ever find time

To share experience ... after owning my car less than 24 hours, I went back to Service with an illuminated air bag light. First determination was they had to R&R the passenger side pretensioner. That did not fix the problem. Consultation with Ford and digging revealed that a wire harness was damaged under the console at the emergency brake. The tech repaired that and all was well. [One wire was cut and several were damaged.] It is probably worth noting that the car was built the day after labor day. This took 5 days out of my early ownership.
