With a 100 degree ambient temp, what is the lowest your air intake temp has been on average and what air intake do you have? Natural aspirated only.

I’m gathering all this information before I supercharge my car; therefore your in luck.

While driving
99 degrees from ambient temp sen
104 degrees from air intake sensor

Wow. That stock intake seems pretty impressive at keeping the IAT down.

Not going to find anything much better than stock to keep the IATs fully in check. I was typically 3-5 above ambient before the ESS kit. It's still pretty close when just cruising around town until you mash into it. It does recover fairly fast.

It was 100 Tuesday where I live and I hit 113 during stops and 110 driving between 35 and 45 mph. Stock intake, GT.

When I bought my car used, it had a K&N intake on it and I find my IATs soar due to engine heat especially during the summer months. I'm currently looking for another intake and considering a Roush. Not sure yet.

I had the Roush on my first 2018 i had. Its a nice looking piece for sure, but for the money there was basically no gain i felt or showed in times at the strip. If you want it for looks and lower IATS than you have now it performs like stock. This was the 2018 version that didn't have a removable MAF tube so work just off the stock tune. It was pretty pricey back then as well, but i had the mod bug.

It's been proven repeatedly that the OEM intake outflows and provides colder air than any other intake. If you have a 15-17 then swap a 2018+ intake on (wider tube) and a afe pro dry s filter. It'll outflow every single cai on the market and provide colder air. The hottest day this week was 103° and my intake temps never went above 110° even if idling for awhile. Or going wot.
