Looking at all the DIY mods i can make to the air intake system of a 2019 GT.
- opened up more holes in honeycomb grill
- removed resonator on intake tube
- removed sound tube
- installed green filter
- Also, removed screen in airbox lid, but not sure what it did, anyone?

Any other mods?

You've done pretty much all you can do besides a Velossa Tech Big Mouth.

Do a swiss-cheese, hole job to the top lid of the factory CAI. It will allow more airflow.

So I've done the others, but what's the bold? Well, I haven't opened up the grill yet (like I did on my '16), but I think I'm going with a different grill entirely, so it's pending :)

On the bottom side of intake tube there is an expansion chamber. There is no gain in deletion of it. It is there for intake noise reduction.

Ahh, yeah, the little plastic kidney :D Right, I remember it from when I pulled out my OEM intake tube on my '16.

I read that was an intake air reserve, so like you're living your life a 1/4 mile-at-a-time, you need that extra little somethin-something', NOS is all used up ... BOOM, huge extra hit of P O W A.

I do plan on doing this (again), I had the dual setup, in red on my black car, looked awesome, dropped IATs, and I wanted to do the dual setup again, but apparently the passenger side on the MY18+ is a problem, you have to hack up some plastic/rubber, so I'm waiting to see if VT does, in fact (they said they might), do a MY18 revision.

If not, I might just go with black on the driver's side (my plan was the dual setup in matching orange ...)

Does anyone know what the screen inside the top of the airbox is for?

OBTW I removed the expansion chamber and engine cover, hoping intake temps may go down.
