Open air intake!

I just purchased the new BBK cold air intake and well it doesnt come in a box like the airride i believe is called! Since it has been raining kinda a lot lately i wanted to ask if its really bad that the filter gets kinda wet when it rains too much? Since its right under the air vent of the hood! I been putting a towel when i dont drive it just to make sure it doesnt get wet even when i wash it! Anyone has a tip or should i cover the vent opening on the hood?

I think you'll be fine, but if you're really worried, check out some filter covers. I believe they are called, "Outerwear."
