Air Conditioner Surging?

My A/C randomly surges about every 30 seconds. It isn't too noticeable with the radio going, but it's hard to ignore with no music playing.

Anyone experience this? Is it worth taking to the dealer to look at?

Mine does it sometimes in auto. Not in manual. I assumed it was right on the fine line of wanting a higher fan speed so would go use and down.

Mine does it in manual mode. Surges (whirs) louder for a few seconds, then quiets down, then does it again.

Could be normal but if you take it in, post up and let us know what shakes out.

Yeah I've noticed this and my vacuum gauge is reading like 10inHg... when I turn my AC off it goes up towards near or above 20inHg
