I haven't noticed anything with mine. When I had my flowmasters on, I had gotten rid of most of the drone with the K&N filter. When I put the Airaid on, I had a good bit of drone again, but at a lower RPM than prior. Right now I have the stock mufflers on with the CAI, but that is always subject to change!

BUT...... I'm planning playing on a Dyno with the stock filter, a K&N drop in filter, and my Airaid. I'll let you know when I get it.

does putting an aftermarket intake on a stock v6 with no other performance mods make it sound any better / throatier / louder in the cabin? I am thinking if it sounds even a little better in the car at WOT, and a small increase in MPG, ill get one

Had it on my v6. It sounded awesome at WOT but no increase in mpg. It looks nice under the hood as well.
