Aftermarket (Vibe) Lug Nut Torque??

Still use stock torque specs with aftermarket wheels? Have Vibe R replicas if it even matters. Thanks guys; just double checking.

The issue isn't one of the wheels. You have to impart the proper amount of stretch on the wheel stud and that requires an engineered torque figure which has not changed.

Point is, and this subject has indeed come up a few times with some rather poor tech from some, the concern is to always ensure that you are making the wheel studs work as designed. Avoid low quality, "tuner-style" lug nuts that aren't up to task in many cases, and stick with the factory recommended torque figure.

Yup! I still torque to 150 no matter which wheels I use. Anything less and I can start to hear clicking sounds coming from the hubs while turning.

Yup. Still using stock lugs.

My Vibe R specs are on at 150 ft lbs with stock lugs. Haven't driven them yet but it will be good to go
