Do you have the contacts of this guy in Facebook? Would like to ask him if he still sells one with a red stripe.

My 14 year old son said to me, don't you have to inform the insurance company if you change the steering wheel?

Good point, do you?

IF we went by the book, insurance company should know if you changed a push pin in your arch liner to a non ford or non spec push pin..

As to quote insurance companies:
"Any non standard item on the car needs to be declared"

(That would include lug nuts changing to black, Push pins changing because you lost one, colouring in seat stitching, adding floor mats and all manner of totally pointless rubbish that nobody bothers to inform them of).

I spoke to my insurance company (Direct Line) on Friday when I renewed and when I told them I'd had my steering wheel re-trimmed they said they were not bothered as it was purely cosmetic. Not sure ifs that the same for go-faster strips etc. though?
