I have no such noise... I’m not even sure what would cause that.. it’s just a thermostatic radiator at the end of the day
Mike at Modurstang tells me that their first generation of the cooler was fine – perhaps that’s your one – but the next two generations definitely had a whirring noise of some sort. Of course a supercharger would cover that over!

Pretty sure Modurstang was fitting MMR kits (which I enquired about but it’s a very involved job). Haven’t heard of any issues with the Mishimoto kit

Ah - my error then. So about £730 for kit and JW extra parts - plus some more for install?

So, the standard Mishimoto kit leaves the stock cooler in place unless you buy their extra bits?

Yes - it fits in front, and completely bypasses it (and cuts stock cooler off from engine, with the extra parts)

The standard Mishimoto oil cooler needs modifying to fit, Streetfighter in Australia have modified the Mishimoto oil cooler for the RHD

https://www.kpmmotorsport.com.au/kp...2015-streetfighter-engine-oil-cooler-package/

I'm hoping if we can get enough people interested we could maybe get a group buy.
I brought the streetfighter kit when I was in Adelaide couple of weeks ago, the decision was made in that that I travel long distances with limited cell phone coverage and the prospect of being stranded in the middle of nowhere should the oil cooler fail.
I had it installed last week by the local Ford service dept,
Monday I clocked up 500km then 500km back on Tuesday, next week I,m driving to Darwin so will clock up another 3500Km,
So for piece of mind knowing I have eliminated a potential failure it was worth the expense.

I didn't worry about the oil pressure switch option,

Did that come from Streetfighter them selves ? When I was asking about the cooler a couple of weeks ago they never mentioned anything to me.

Yeah that's why I asked for a full refund. They were honest about it, if you shoot them an email he will explain.
Just buy a mishimoto one and a manifold failing that mike scott is doing his own.
