No its only when i accelerate at 2k -4k rpm. i hear loud exhaust sound/vibration and it goes away after i go easy on my accelerator
Sounds like resonance then. Mine does that if I am accelerating in a lower gear too. At first it bothered me but I cant even say that I notice it doing it any more or maybe I changed my driving habits.

Definitely disconnect the microphone.

I have the ford performance sport catback system (which also deletes the resonator), and was having a lot of nasty buzzes around the same RPMs. Disconnecting the microphone solved 90% of it. I still get a tiny bit of buzz in the doors around 60mph in 6th gear - but even that is drastically reduced.

I tried disconnecting the mic and even spliced a button in line with one leg of the mic wiring. As driving I could turn it on and off at any time. I heard zero difference.

I am thinking of putting sound deadner to solve this issue as resonator would make my exhaust quiet like factory one so wondering if anyone had any experience with these sound deadners
