It’s no secret that I love the AE on my 2020 GT, and I keep it in track mode most of the time.

But just wondering: if I flip it to “normal” mode would the car sound exactly like a totally stock 18+ GT exhaust that had not been modified in any way at all?

It might be best to go to a local dealer and listen to a GT with non AE to know for certain.

No, the non active exhaust is more quiet than the AE in normal mode from what I remember when I was buying/test driving.

I have the standard exhaust. I am told it is loud and getting louder.

Have you left your standard exhaust unmodified? And does it sound good with the top down?
