I know apples to oranges, but I got a 1.87 60' launching between 1500-2000 with the A10.
That is pretty impressive.

Did you use the launch control in the car or do it on your own?

Mine came with the 235-50-18 pirelli's which I sold the day after I bought my car and I am sure they would have been useless at the track.
Those same all seasons tires (235-50-18) served me well as last Friday I posted my best pass on them at 12.65@116 in a all stock 17 MT-82. Track prep was great and the weather was in the -400 to -800 feet below sea level. I got no hop at all. Until next year. I am still shocked as to how fast the auto's are!!

No launch control. I didn't want to be fumbling with it.

Very nice! It still blows my mind how far these cars have come from the days when I was ecstatic to see 13’s in a bolt on Fox body lol

Does anyone know if any MT-82’s have seen 11’s bone stock?

I do worry about the wheel hop and IRS. I’m probably going to stiffen it up quite a bit with just about every Steeda part I can buy.
No way stock. It's going to at least take a tire if not tire/tune. At least that's my goal, or I'm gonna have to change my plates.

Stock car on 255's record anyway.
When I had a GTO, the owners would swap out the wheel/tire with the spare and get another spare from another GTO. Car did better than stock, but the GTO was always slow compared to the terminator and gt500 of its time.
I wonder if the same thing can be done for the 2018 and up cars. Put in spare fronts and see what it can run with a cheap skinny/slick setup.

Skinnies are Worth .10-.15 on the 1/4 mile depending on there weight.Back in 2001 on my 2000GT I did just that to get into the Hi 12's from the low 13's.I used my space-saver spare and a buddy's.His was from a 2002GT and the wheel looked different but had the same size tire of course only rated to 55mph...Back in my foxbody days we used Thunderbird spares as they we aluminum and would have the drilled to look like welds.

Yes, put a skinny driver and lose 2 more tenths. Lol.
At a smidgen under 150, I volunteer!

However, that would also require me to have some skill at launching, which I don't have.

In all seriousness, though, damn impressive!

Launching techniques can be taught in about a minute. A few practice runs and you'd be good to go.

I like that you're totally willing to use me to get your car into 11.8 or possibly touching 11.7...

But I was to the track ONCE.

In the early 90s.

Launching a Dart Sport with a stock 318 2-bbl, dual exhaust, and a moody carburetor. Surprisingly, that did 15.6 @ 90 with the 2.45:1 axle.

I . . . uh . . need to find an excuse to go to Illinois.

She has on the plates, just not on the strip. Probably gonna have to be next spring now. It's getting close to winter time around here. There is a brand new 1/4 mile drag strip opening in 2019 just east of KC. Been several years since they closed down our last one. Nearest 1/4 mile is in Topeka. Not that far, but track prep is horrible except when NHRA comes to town in May.

I wish I had your 305's on it! I wanted to see How quick it was on the 255's. I was surprised it went 11's as that wasn't done on a stock 18 with 255's before. Previously all the bone stock 11's were performance pack cars on 275's. One reviewer even said you have to buy a performance pack if you want 11's bone stock. I'm not sure a 3.15 geared car with 255's can run 11's though.
