Are people really having that much trouble with the stock shifter on this thing? I could understand if you are serious about doing runs at the strip, but just for street driving? I haven't had much trouble with mine, if any.

Thank you for the video. Do you have any personal experience you would like to share. I think that is what we are interested in

Hi Guys, just wanted to chime in here. We had some noise complaints on our 11-14 shifters, most people feel it was quiet but for some it was too much.

So when the 2015 came out, it was our #1 goal to make this shifter as quiet as possible while still creating a solid shift. It was Very difficult and very frustrating at times.

We went through about 25 different designs to get this right, and we spent 5 months solely working on this shifter. Every car, trans, and person is different. So when we thought we had it right on our car, we would travel to install it on someone else's car.

It Made for a long process but we feel this design is as quiet as a shifter can possibly be. We want to prove this to you guys which is why we offer the 30day money back guarantee. If your not happy with the noise, send it back for a full refund and try the next product.

Dfrost- Your line of thinking of the solid mount vs body mount is logical. However, what happens when you go to a solid mount is that no vibration can be absorbed, so the shifter vibrates as much as the trans does.

By mounting to the body and using a polyurethane bushing, the vibration is dampened. Think of a tuning fork, or a symbol on a drum set, when you hit them the vibration travels through the metal and creates harmonics, but as soon as you touch them the sound/vibration is dampened and the noise dissipates.

We have a solid mount for our shifter, and as soon as I have time to make an install video it will be available. But I tell everyone, try the shifter with out the trans mount first, because I believe 99% of people will prefer the shifter as it is without the mount

Thanks,
Dave

Well, Dave, I have to say... Your shifter is awesome. Finished the install to my friends GTPP yesterday evening. Shifts are sure and tite. Neither of us notice any increase of NVH, so if there is any, its NOT worth mentioning! I'd say you got it right! I'll be ordering mine, for my car this week. Thanks.
