Hey guys, I have NVH coming from the transmission after installing the Steeda Short Shift Lever (555 7316).
My first MT82 mod was the Energy Suspension Shifter Bushing (4-1134G), which did not increase NVH at all. I later got the Steeda Short Shift Lever installed and now I have significant NVH coming from the transmission. The noise starts to gradually increase after 2k RPM and gets really loud above 5k RPM. I get gear whine and metallic rattling noises.
Will swapping this performance polyurethane shifter bushing back to the factory rubber bushing reduce or even eliminate the noise? I'd rather keep the short shift lever because I love the shorter throws, but I cannot stand all this noise when driving, especially at high revs.
