Wow! Thank you everyone for your advice, suggestions, and all the great information! I decided to pass on this HE and will be calling around to see what other dealers will sell me a GT500 at a better ADM.

I honestly don’t need it to be an HE but I do like the Brittany Blue color and think it will be worth more money later down the line. That being said I would love a CFTP and would even be happy with a good equipped base GT500.
Worse case scenario I keep my 350 and enjoy it longer. 😉 Thanks again everyone! 🙏🏽

17k over for a base just seems nuts to me. Like others have said, make some phone calls and try to lock one in for 7-10k. 17k over you are talking CFTP money.
The HE cars this year will likely account for 30-40% of all GT500s made this year. There will be some around when this production run is over. The stock market is tanking, we are headed to a recession, money for toys, expensive toys, is going to dry up.

I agree that 17k over is high for a base 500, HE or not. But, limited production vehicles that have a high demand like these cars will always command a much higher value and premium and there values will redlect that. The recession noise is debateable, but there isn’t a shortage of buyers for these cars. The idea that 5-10k over is a “deal” is evidence of that. Hope the OP finds what he’s looking for.

Some would pay it, some wouldn't, some would pay more, some would pay less. These threads kill me.

I see you have moved on from the car and that's 100% your choice. When you find your next car, just base your decision on what works for YOU. This is all that matters. Screw anyone else that doesn't subscribe to your way of thinking. It's your piggy bank after all.

This kind of applies to any car that’s marked up but just ask yourself: if the sticker was $17K MORE than what they are asking instead of $17K less, how would you feel about paying the $102K they’re asking? If you can afford that, probably pretty damn good.

Just because I’m a curious person, let us know how your search turns out.

Once again you pop into the GT500 section to spew your idiocy….go away troll.
And the point of this ridiculous post? Maybe you might consider going back to the regular S550 threads. The GT 500 is obviously not for you.
Very silly post.

Please point out where i was wrong in my response....

It’s up to you young man. Some of us were lucky to avoid a markup when we purchased our 2020s. It was a different world then. Now inflation is driving the price of everything through the roof. There’s a $6,000 difference between how high you want to go and their lowest offer. If this is too much for you then don’t purchase the car. If it’s not then you may want to consider this rare beauty.

just off the truck this morning. CFTP, painted stripes, Heritage. They haven't posted the sticker but it looks like 50k ADM if the website is to be believed. I STRONGLY suggest calling Jason and seeing where they'll actually land on ADM as the 'automatic' pricing algorithm may be way off.
Well, now that the troll is gone, back to our regularly scheduled WTH $50K ADM? So glad I didn’t decide to trade in for an HE. But, that Mystic Purple slays me!

Everything. I just sold 2 2021 gt500’s for way over what I paid. Saw no depreciation at all. They had over 2k miles each. Never had a transmission leak from any of the 5 I have had. Body lines are about the same as my M8. I can pretty confidently claim you are wrong.
