Can you control the active exhaust modes through the steering wheel on a 301A car or is it only done through the drive modes? I know it can be done on the 401A cars using the MyMode menu but wasn't sure about the base cars.

Thanks, I was going through the menus yesterday and couldn't find it. I'll check again today.

If you have sync connect can you control it with your phone?

Wrong, not settings, it's the pony button. Settings is the gear button.

Nope.
Only the 401a has the pony button, the 400a and below have the same steering wheel controls as the 2015-2017. You just scroll the menus and go to settings then exhaust mode in the small info display (just like in the GT350).
It's certainly a bit faster to switch exhaust modes on the 401a due to the dedicated Pony button, though.
