I believe this has been discussed before, but I cannot seem to find the thread. I have a 2018 without the active exhaust, but I do have the plugs in the back to add it. I contacted Ford but they said that they would only sell me the exhaust for $2000 (which is way too expensive). However, I found an active exhaust for sale online without the actuators, just the physical exhaust. Of course I could find and add them later, but if I were to buy the exhaust, what is the default no-power mode of the valves? If I remember correctly, it is fully open (track), but I want to verify that.

The car always defaults to the nornal setting unless you have quiet start turned on

No what if you don't have the actuators. What do the valves default to, like if you were to disconnect your exhaust.
