You have my sympathy... And we all wait for the summer in order to enjoy our cars... I hope they figure it out and they fix it soon. Keep us posted, we need all the information we can get from each other.

Sounds like blend door is stuck.
Try cycling from hot to cold back to hot a couple of times.

I know it's not normal. I never had this kind of problem with any car I owned in the past. I treat my Mustang like a Victoria's Secrets model and I get this in return? Seriously now, I am hurt! :brokenheart:
I feel for you, fellow mustang owner.

This just started happening to me a week ago too (no cold on the drivers side, only passenger). Have tried alternating between cold and hot a few times but no dice.

I have an appointment with Ford Service, but they have a 2 week wait before they can even look at it. Fun times.

This aircon thing seems to be an issue all over the world... It's like a plague. I wonder if Ford is going to do something about it.

Anyway, lastelement21 you too have a leakage, like everyone else. Keep us posted.

My a/c is blowing semi cold air..it seems like it's slowly dying, and it's not enough to battle this Texas heat. Scheduled a service for Monday to check out the a/c and replace my PCV system. Bad part is...the a/c has already been replaced once before (under warranty) :(

I doubt Ford will do anything about it. If it fails while under warranty they will fix it for free, but if no warranty then it's on the customer to pay. Best Ford might do is maybe extend the warranty on the evaporator, but wouldn't hold my breath.

If people are planning on keeping their Mustang for a long time, it might pay to purchase an extended warranty.

I now also have this issue on the 2015 Mustang V6. It does not have "dual zone" control, and I have only 1 actuator motor on the drivers side close to the gas pedal. It does NOT have one on the passenger side but there is a spot there to put it, just nothing there but the hole and the 2 screw studs, and I do not see any wiring hanging down so I guess on the single zone they have the double doors somehow fused together, and I am only speculating.

I checked the Freon charge and its fine, getting 40 PSI on the low side, and 250 on the high. I went ahead and added a can of R134a but all it did was make it get warmer and the pump got noisier, and the high went to 350 psi, so I removed some of the refrigerant and its back to 250psi. The outside temps here in Houston are about 90F. This does not appear to be a refrigerant leak. There is green dye in the AC line from last year I think when I visited this, but was not as bad, and tonight I will run my UV light over everything, but I don't think this is a evaporator core leak, hope not.

It blows hot on the drivers side, and cold on the passenger side. Moving the hot / cold blend doesn't fix it, and if you put it on hot you get hot air from both sides, so that works just fine, and its as if the drivers side blend door is stuck on hot, is how its working right now.

I put my stethoscope on the actuator motor and I can here is spinning and then stopping when I move the control knob between hot and cold. I went ahead and ordered the replacement motor on Amazon, a whole $10 for a aftermarket one, 1 day shipping as so many people have said their blend door motor keeps failing.
