About to install BMR CB005

I see some posts describing difficulty getting the 21mm bolts started without a lot of effort leveraging the cradle into exact alignment. But they don't mention if the install was being done on a lift or on jack stands.

My MGW install was held up for days because I was doing it on jack stands and could not pull the trans down far enough to get one bolt in on the top of the trans. The MGW install video mentions you may need to pull down with your full weight and I didn't fully realize 'till the time came that you can't pull down with your full weight when you are laying on the ground. LoL

If its possible/likely I can't pry the cradle into place while laying on the ground, I'll just have a shop do the CB005 install on a lift.

I did mine on jack stands and had no issues at all getting the bolts started. Just follow the instructions with the kit.

Super easy. I dont even jack the car up when I do them.

I back the car on ramps and crawl under and get it done.

I did mine on jack stands, took about 90 min from time I drove into my garage and drove back out, taking my time. Very easy to install, just take your time, read carefully and be mindful of threading in bolts not to crossthread, I started to but luckily I have a tap and die kit, so I quickly repaired the starting threads so that I can install bolt correctly.
