I have a new 2022 Mach 1 with TREMEC transmission, Handling & Elite package which comes with Pilot Sport Cup 2’s, I’m leaning towards Pilot 4S but I’ve been hearing good things about the SportContact 7; or should I wait for the Pilot 5S that’s soon to drop for my next set of tires?

I’ve always been a Michelin fanboy, like you though the reviews of the contis are making me consider them as I’m due a change, much cheaper too in my sizes!

Sell the Cup 2's ASAP, get some money back from that and put on the PS4S and don't look back.

True but the new Pilot 5S is around the corner because the 4S has been out a while now (I’m anxious to see the reviews on it)

I probably won’t sell them, maybe store them I’m my shed & get a new set of wheels & tires(at least that’s my plan)

I have PS4S and like them a lot. But the Conti reviews put them way ahead of the PS4S in both wet and dry. Will the PS5S be materially ahead of the Contis? Probably not.

Are the Sport Contact 7's available in 315 and 305 for the Mach 1? I'm not seeing it as an option even on their site in that size.

The only thing I noticed with the conti’s is you have to bump to a 325/30 rear they don’t make a 315/30 but from what I’ve read it’s perfectly fine, I’ll probably be going this route myself

Just moved to set a set of CSC7's. 265/35/20 and 305/30/20. They were a really good price. I moved from the Bridgestone Potenza Sport which is also a great tyre, but it becomes unpredicatable sub 12ºC or so, which is a shame. So far, the Conti's have been great and I'm keen to see how they handle the supercharger. The latest reviews of the CSC7 are really good - scooping all the top spots. Sadly the PS4S is old in comparison now, which can be seen in recent reviews with the new Goodyeaar Eage F1 Asymetric 6 and Pirelli P Zero PZ4 often ranking above the Michelin in test scores. That's not to say the Michelin has suddenly become bad - it is still a great tyre, it is just that there are now alternatives out there; most likely why the new Pilot Sport S 5 is coming soon.

Yes sir, just waiting to read the reviews when the Pilot 5S comes out (but Michelin usually doesn’t disappoint)

That’s a track tire, similar to the Cup2. You can drive them on the street but my understanding is they take quite a while to heat up enough to get the full grip out of them.
