I am just down the road in Grays and do visit a friend in wickford quite a bit.
Your friend, whilst beer is good, do you think he would paint the same covers for me in DIB blue with money to be exchanged ????
If he would and subject to cost I would be interested in this - could even have a little side line in doing these ! ;)

They're fairly easy to do to be honest. Primer, spray cans in colours you want, and lacquer (should you wish). Bit of masking tape and something like bin liner/newspaper to cover sections you don't want spraying etc.
If anyone near me really wants one doing, happy to help out!

ah that's interesting! and i'm not sure, it would be getting it into work that would be the issue, and it was quite time consuming so its not the easiest thing for them to take on as a side hobby.
but as Manders said it isn't difficult to do yourself, i just had mine done because we have proper ovens and spray booths at work
in addition to that the the priming is the most lengthy part, if you want a decent gloss finish use filler primer and sand down multiple times before spraying other was you end up with a tide type affect in the paint.They're fairly easy to do to be honest.
