Well I didn't order one but it wasn't for lack of trying. I haven't heard of a dealer in my state that is getting more than one car allocated this first go around. And with these allocation numbers the cars are going with extremely high ADM's.
I guess I'm not saying I wouldn't be as P.O'd as some are here, but be somewhat thankful you were at least able to get one ordered. Good luck, I hope these cars start flowing soon.

The post reads a message to ford. Do you have a 350 on order ? Where the hell are we going to find a 350 in the showroom if they are all sitting @ flat rock ? This is a post about us owners .if you don't have one on order just ignore us.
Of course I have one ordered and have been waiting for a few months. Ford said late fall, cars started shipping late fall. You can't expect them to build them all and ship them all in one quarter.I'm just saying all the give me car now crap and conspiracy's doesn't do any good.

You can not go to the dealer and just drive off with a shelby gt350. They have to be ordered. And guess what you do next. YOU WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT!! unless you are in line to buy one you don't have room to voice your opinion.
Okay, really, get over yourself. You can go to a dealer that has one in stock (actually quite a few at this point, there's posts all over the place with links to Autotrader, dealer websites and eBay). Yes, you have to pay through the nose to go get one of those, but you can do that today and drive off with one. So your statement is patently false.

Oh sure, "don't voice your opinion unless you have one on order". What a fascist comment. Guess I'm okay though because I have one on order. :headbonk:

Well I've waited like some for over 6 months. I can bitch if I like because of the wait. My cars been built and been sitting for 6 weeks. I paid for my car in full and that's a little tuff to get that kind of money back in full.

You should back out of your deal ASAP.

When I found out from my salesman that I won the lottery draw they said I had to place the order that day and was told it would be here in 6-8 weeks. Not 6 months.

Don't know what to tell you dude. Get your money back and do something else with it. Paying in full for a car before it has even been produced is definitely not a move I would do and I don't see any upside to it at all. But you can blame Ford for that if you like as well.

Yea, voodoo and 5.0 have definitely been treated poorly by Ford. And that sucks.

But, this community would be better without them as they bog the forum down with bitch-fests.

Reading this forum has turned into a soap opera...people need to chill out. If you need a car so fast go find one in a showroom.
Thank you.

Goodness I read this specific forum and think you guys couldn't be traders in the market, the lack of patience would have you broke, but that is irrelevant.

First I must say Voodoo, I highly appreciate the pictures today. Amazing work.

A masterpiece isn't built in one day or overnight. Yes people have received theirs already, but when I placed my order back in August I honestly didn't expect my car until next April. This is a completely new platform, with specs and performance that no other company can touch for this price.. if they have I'd encourage anyone fed up with the process to go and get it.

I think the wait has become way too personal for some people. It defines their day, or their week. If the wait for a car is that agonizing that its unbearable.. Ford isn't your problem.

Snow is sitting on my car (thanks to Voodoo for showing that) its sitting on the lot already built. Know what I'm focused on right now? My kids. My wife. My investments. What I need to do at work. The GT350 is still a CAR. Can't take that shit with me when I go to my grave, and I'll enjoy it when Ford decides they want to ship it.. kudos to them for making such an amazing product. Whether I get it tomorrow or three months from now.. it will still be an amazing product.

If you're looking elsewhere.. go elsewhere. As an avid trader I can tell you, the moment you move on from this is the moment someone else is picking up the car YOU ordered from the dealership. So either we can be patient and trust the the wait is worth it, or move on and let someone that had patience enjoy the ride. Everything else in between falls on deaf ears as banter and bullshit. Just being honest.

Every time a new, highly anticipated Mustang is announced, there are long waits for production, QC, and actual release. Customers get annoyed with the long wait and complain. Happens every time! So, the dealer I work for decided not to pre-sell or reserve our GT350's ahead of time. Each was ordered for dealer inventory. So, nobody is waiting impatiently for our cars. When they arrive, we'll put a competitive price on them and someone can waltz right into the showroom and take one home immediately.

IMO, pre-ordering a specialty car months before production starts is a recipe for disaster if a customer is not ready to wait many months. Ordering after production and shipping has begun is much less stressful, by the way. Even less stressful is just buying a car that's already at a dealership and available for immediate sale.

Herein lies the majority of your problem. Dealer should've never said 6-8 weeks when Ford specifically said "available late fall 2015".

As for covering the cars for delivery, I can find fault with Ford with that.

I ordered my R 06/14 via Ford invite... I'm lucky to get one... Even more lucky at MSRP. It's a 2016... That's when I expected to see it. The dealer I'm shipping thru said we will let you know when we know something... Yeah, they don't know. I'm still good with it cause I'm concentrating on the priorities of life and patient as Job with this car.

Might I suggest a good game of chess in the interim?

I understand my rant and rave is wrong and I apologize for going to far, but my main complaint is being told at least 5 times that my car would be in my hands on 10-24 , 10-26, then 10-31 again on 11-8 then on 11-13. Each of those dates were shown to me by my salesman from the ford shipment website that he received. On 11-9 it said that it was shipped out on 11-4 and returned back to factory on 11-5. When both my salesman and myself called Ana at ford customer relations, she said she would find out and have a answer for me by the following day before 8pm. She never called me and didn't call me for 2 days. I called her and she said she didn't have a answer for me. When someone says they will call you back and don't, I think that's pretty unprofessional. I then called ford performance and Isaac and Mike both told me they couldn't find my car in the system. Isaac said he would call me the following day in which he did and he said its awaiting shipment. I passed this info onto my dealer in which he contacted ford and he said I got better info from the Internet then himself. When I ask ford why my vin is 0390 and I live just 20 miles from flat rock and others with a later vin and live out of state already received their car already how can that be? They don't know. I don't have a problem waiting. All I want is a straight answer like everyone else. Sunday I seen 100s of shelbys and literally 1000s and 1000s of mustangs. It's not a manufacturing shortage. It's a shipment and release problem. And I just like to know why. A lot of you guys live in a area where you can drive your car year round. I'm not going to be driving my car in 12" of snow. So yeah I bitch.

Ok, so if you can't drive your car anyways then what's the gripe? I agree... If someone said they'd call you back by a certain time and didn't then yes you have a legitimate gripe but sounds like she got the same info you already knew.

So, in all, it seems the only straight answer is that there is NO straight answer.

Pull up a chair and wait with us man.

 My gripe is that if I had it when they said so we could all enjoy them. I don't drink but maybe I should start. It doesn't matter now if I can drive it or not. It would still be nice to have. Sorry. Unlike many of you I don't have a car. I drive a transit work van for my business everyday. I haven't owned a car since my 1992 fox body that I bought new and turned into a drag car. So it will be nice to have a street car again. I just have the voodoo itch.
