Anyone have any issues with the a/c?
Feels mine doesn’t blow as cold as need be. It works ok it seems.
When I go in at 5k miles... (another 1500 for me) I’ll have them check it out for me.
Just curious if anyone else had the issue and had a solution?

It could be several things, from a temperature blend door not going all the way to "cold", low refrigerant due to a leak in the system. If they find the refrigerant low, they should know to check for an evaporator leak, per a TSB that has been out for a couple of years. It's a common issue. Fortunately, you are under warranty!!
One thing that sometimes works is to disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes and reconnect it. That "reboots" the system and sometimes helps. Good luck!

I’ve posted before on my evaporator core issue which from what I’ve read, appears to be a common issue. Mine started out blowing not cold until failing completely with no cold air at all. Hopefully it’s something minor and be very glad you are still in warranty. If your evaporator core is leaking like mine did, I have pictures on some posts of what that process looks like....not fun. I would guess they will refill your car with refrigerant and determine and trace if you have a leak. Not to scare you but I have pics posted with the car dash out. Really sucks. Be prepared but hopefully it’s something minor.

how has it been since it got reconstructed?
So far no issue. Went with my trusted Local guy not Ford though since I was out of warranty. It’s a 2 day job but he asked for a week because he didn’t want to rush it putting everything back in. Funny thing is he mentioned there were several parts installed backwards from the factory that he put back the right way When he reassembled. Lol. Typical Ford quality control issues. Luckily no squeaks at all and I can’t tell the difference.

Most A/C systems can only do so much when ambient temps are extremely high, like 100+. Is there a specific situation where it doesn't feel like it's good enough? I torture tested mine the other day in 101F heat and it felt by the ol' hand gauge that it was putting out air in the low to mid 50's which is pretty good. Also worth considering that the sun can be a dick and fight the A/C in the middle of the day. I have full ceramic window tint on everything including the windshield and I have no doubt that makes a massive difference as far as letting the A/C perform better and keep the car cooler. Using recirculation also improves the performance.

I'd still have the dealer check into it, but that's some stuff you can think about. The evaporator was redesigned for 2018 and up, so it's unlikely you'll run into that issue specifically, although obviously not impossible.

Yeah temps were blazing... when I go to do the next service I am going to have them look into it.

Took it to ford and the guy had a tool I guess that checks temperatures. we had the thing on 60... and he said the air that is coming out is in the 30s and 40s it didn’t make any sense at all how the settings would be in the 60s and he is saying we are getting almost 20 degrees lower out of the car.

Setting the desired temperature, in this case 60, does not mean the air coming out of the ducts will be at that temperature. The system will go to full cold in this instance, unless the interior of the car is already at 60. 30-40 degrees out of the vent is normal.

yeah I did a little research and read that as well. I’m still going to have it looked at though.
