That is strange. I am going to have to give my AC a try.Honestly the more I think about it the more I'm convinced there's a programming issue. I am OK with 'AC off' meaning it simply stays off entirely, but when I have 'AC on' it never deactivates the AC. It defeats the purpose of automatic climate control when I have to toggle the AC button every 5 minutes because the vents can't just 'deal' with near ambient temperatures in the cabin, it blasts AC or heat unless you turn the AC off.
I didn't even think about it this weekend, was out driving around a lot but now that I'm thinking back it's starting to bother me that I kept having to fiddle with the damn thing in the first place.
I am pretty sure that in my 135i it Auto would turn AC on if needed, but I don't think it turned it off - which was fine, as it would still heat fine.
