thank you!If you happen to have the Ford exteneded warranty it should be covered.
Just had to dealer fix mine, was just over 2K. My cost was just the $200 deductible.
I bought my car used, so I don't have a warranty.
And I know text can come off wrong because of no tone of voice, so I'm not trying to be rude at all whatsoever, just explain my position...
I would never, ever let the dealer touch my car... I've seen the "mechanics" they hire, it's not good. I wouldnt trust the dealer mechanics to put floormats in properly.
I'd sell the car before I'd let them touch it haha. Especially something thats "that much" in depth, pulling the whole dash, it's like a sleeping bag, it fit once in its bag, but never goes back in the same way... combine that with the work ethic of today's people and they dont care about other people's stuff.. no way lol
Also, I've seen how they drive other peoples cars in the shop and stuff, revving the hell out of it when it sounds good, etc. it's just a lot of abuse on the car that I'm not willing to do.
I'm realllllly hoping its my pump or something, so that I dont have to tear the dash apart, we shall see soon, gonna get some A/C ga. kit and test the pressure and see if I can find out what's going on. It's been like 104 here and my car's black... it's painful to drive lol.
