considering doing fuel system. right now my setup is

2.8LC Kenne Bell on a 3.5" Pulley (i was told thats 12psi but ive never had a real gauge on it)
MMR OPG/TG
stock headers and cats
Ford 52lb injectors (maybe 57? i dont know exactly).
stock 6R80
Valero 93 octane

even driving around town the nGauge has shown trans temps at 200F and under load ive seen 210.

at 800whp with a supercharger (one that is claimed to have the least parasitic loss of all the PD superchargers) is the car on borrowed time? is the trans on borrowed time? id like to keep it together as long as possible, but 100 extra WHP isnt worth it if its just going to let loose at 5k miles.

thoughts? am i paranoid?

here is a log i took yesterday morning. the car has half a can of torco in it so its about +3 or +4 octane, in case you are wanting to take a look.

I second what beef said. You could always go e85 catless and NOT up the boost.

weve never come down with empirical data regarding if just cat delets vs full LTH does anything on boosted applications, have we? i know both would be better than what i currently have.

You had to open that can of worms lol. Everybody will say what they did is best. I'll start full catless long tubes. At least that's what I did.

Not to hijack the thread, but curious as to why everyone is saying lose the cats.

I've heard of the cats collapsing under boost and then popping the engine from plugging it, but Lund told me unless your running really rich that its very unlikely.

Just curious.
