Saturday I went to an 1/8th mile strip with some friends. Aside from the strip being an absolute dump, I think I did pretty OK? I did 8 runs within 2 hours. My last 2 I bombed, missing 3rd heh. This was my 3rd time trying to drag race at a strip. The other times were 1/4 and I didn't do all that great (never broke bellow 13)

My best run was with all the T/C on, 3200 LC, light slippage. I got a 8.34@90MPH with a 2.0 60. I am running NT555G2 on 20's, 34PSI. The car is still spinning pretty bad into 2nd. At the time of my run it was 91 degrees outside and according to drag times the density altitude was 2565 feet and relative density: 92.71 %.

My car is flex tune, PMAS intake and catback only. Performance pack M6, 373s. Is that a pretty decent run? I am kind of excited to try to do some more runs.

With that 60 ft, you'd be around a 12.75 @ 115 mph in the 1/4 mile. IMO, that's a decent run for street tires, good job!

Which strip was this? The only 1/8th mile strip I've been to was 75-80 in MD and yeah that place sucked donkey balls. The surface felt like it was entirely oiled down, spun the tires so bad I thought my clutch failed.

Natural Bridge Dragway... Rutted gravel roads and mud puddles on the way in, I flipped. One guy was running the whole place, registration, tech, cooking. Bathrooms were from another dimension worse than hell... nobody handing out slips. You had to go rip your card off the machine, along with everyone else who ran LOL. No track prep because it was an AWD shootout happening there too.

You can't complain until you've driven through central Poland in the dead of winter 20 years ago. :eyebulge:
