First time at 8th mile with Nittos

Ok feedback? Lower pressure? Shifted at approx 7k went through traps at 7300 in third. I used line lock and its freaking awesome. I don't have any experience with these type of tires?. Suggestions welcomed and thanks..

22lbs i would think would be plenty low. most people take em down to 25 or 26.

Hmmm.. Wonder if I should increase lunch rpm, say to 2500 or so... It rained us out last night only had about 8 runs

What was your launch RPM? I'd think you'd be in he 1.7-1.8 sixty range with the drag radials. Might take a few passes to get the new tire oil out of em and I wouldn't do a real big burnout. 3-5 seconds per burnout should be plenty for that tire.

Launched at 2k... Yeah I didn't do a bunch of long burn outs either. I would love to hit. 1.7... Seemed like launching vs feathering got me my best 60

With those tires u can definitely launch higher than 2k,try launch contol and try it at. 3k those tires will hold it.

Yea 3000-3500RPMs on those tires should net better results.

Awesome! Can't wait...if I can get down to 8.0s. That would be cool... The mph seems like it's putting down decent power.

At some point, you should consider upgrading your halfshafts. Enough high rpm launches will spell disaster for the stockers.

Yea 89 mph in the 1/8 is rollin,just my opnion eventually u will have to change ur shafts but i think as long as u dont go over 4k launches u will be find.Depending on ur gear u might have to slip the clutch a little also,but after a few more passes u will get it.

18 PSI & heat them good... they like heat. I had these on my ctv & cut high 1.6s.

I'll try 18 psi as well as 3k launches.. I have 3.73 gears... Thanks for the tips everyone, yes half shafts are on my short list... Wow they are pretty penny.
