Hey guys I decided to join the forums today, ive had my 17 5.0 for two years now and already put 50k miles on it...lol. Planning on doing a full drag/street car build so heres the list of my part goals
I want to send the long block to rpg and get rods, pistons, opgs, crank sprocket, sleeves and fully built and ported heads.
Lund Tuning
BL fabrications single 88mm turbo kit with bumper exit
JPC Racing th400 swap kit
DSS drive shaft
Watson racing 9 in inch rear (comes w diff and
BMR front and rear suspension
Drag pack (idk which brand yet)
Now i know everything i listed is fuck ton of money and im probably missing a few things but all these parts would make a reliable 7 sec capable ripper ripper

Single 88 will get you that yes, i'd go glide over 400 though! As you stated you are missing a few things. Whenever you're ready to purchase the parts i'd love to earn your business ! Feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected] !

Why a glide on this heavy platform vs a th400? If you just want two speeds, the th400 is still a stronger trans for two speed.

Take a look at David Van Voris YouTube and you both have the same goals of running in the 7 second zone.
I think he has run a 8.24ET 165MPH with his 2017 mustang gt and have spent between $35,000 to $40,000 in mods.
David has some fun videos on his site.

the th400 is just more exciting to me than the glide, the th400 is much more violent seeming and 6r80s and 10r80s simply cannot keep up with the amount of abuse i plan on putting down

Got it, but really a moot point because his mustang has a full on built race motor and a full on built race turbo400 Trans.
Not a moot point. There's a big difference between a gen 2 and gen 3 coyote build.

Their is a difference and I have had a lot of discussion with Alejandro Flores & Lund Racing when comes to supercharging and a turbo setup the gen2 motor is better.

In for an update on this 7 second build. Where we at, running 9's? Breaking in the turbo? What's the timeline?
