Even if GM drops the same engine in this z28 model, the car will still run a lot better. If current SS can run below 12.4s this new z28 with over 500hp is going to be in the 11s all day.

I think a new member of the LT family is about to arrive pretty soon.
I am not so sure about that. GM has a history of sharing engines in their performance vehicles

LS3 = Previous gen Corvette and Camaro SS
LT1 = Corvette and Camaro SS
LT4 = Z06, ZL1, CTS-V
LSA = Previous gen CTS-V, Last gen ZL1
LS7 = Previous Z06, Previous Z/28

The only thing recently that got its own unique engine was the Corvette ZR1 with the LS9. With the Grand Sport Corvette just using the LT1 I do not see a fully unique engine for the Z/28 just based on GM past history of sharing engines.

I could see them doing something like did in the early 2000s with the LS1 and making a "hot" version ala LS6. If they don't go that route, I see this car using the LT4.

That was my first reaction when I saw it was OMG look at the size of those tires!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not liking the sound, really big, but the almost no wheel gap is nice!

He was probably testing them then shi_ happened

Malfunction, maybe Electronic Ebrake kicked on??

Cars looks very solid through the turns though.
