Getting a free tv. from work. 60in led

Will it fit no box, seats folded down or am I seriously over estimating the cars space?

No, definitely not. Opening isn't the right size or shape.

I couldnt even get a 50" in the trunk, much less a 60". I tried while the Best Buy employee watched with a highly amused expression.

Haha good to know. I tried to bring home some cut wood from home depot one day and everyone seemed to want to joke about it as they drove away in their 1990s Honda. Hell even I thought it was funny

I got a 65 inch in. I had to take it out of the box and wiggle it in. The angle you have to put it in at is sketchy, and looking back I was pretty dumb. But it worked.

Truck friends get tired of being asked to help people move.

But if your truck friend(s) do not help you move a friggin' FREE 60" LCDHDTV, they are in no way, shape or form, your friend(s).

Of course the Mustang can haul a 60 inch TV. Someone who hasn't tried would say different...

Do you also buy a queen sized mattress and tie it to your roof? Anything is possible!

I would try going in from the side and putting it in from behind the front seats.

Would also note that TVs are not supposed to be transported flat, the glass weight gets distributed across and can cause it to break, same thing with windows. I've transported both flat, but something to be cautious about, if you can get a van or truck that you can stand it up and secure it, it is your best option. Especially with a large TV that's potentially expensive (I know you said free here).

I can't remember how snug it got, but I know I fit a 55" new-in-box TV in the trunk a couple years ago. It sat flat in the trunk / folded-seats.
