lol yeah the person behind that keyboard must be like 19-20 tops
Yeah his comments seemed so moronic and contradictory to me, but I was trying to be somewhat nice :D

A 600rwhp mustang is a freaking beast by most people's standards, including those who grew up with muscle & sports cars. And you have to be really careful at those power levels.

Anyone coming from a civic should shocked and awed by one.

When I had my RX-8 the rpm's are so high when driving at 45 mph you felt like you are going fast. In the mustang it's so quiet and effortless I find myself speeding without even knowing.
Yeah, I know what you mean.

Agreed, my GT500 was at a mere ~540 to the wheels and was anything but tame.

Downright lethal in the wrong hands on the OEM tires.....

Phoenix is right. My 15 at a little over 600rwhp(on wastegate) and 3c circle d seems very tame and slow. In matter of fact I was shocked it was doing a 7.0 100 with a 2.3 60ftin the 1/8th when it was over 100 degrees.

Kyle has had the pleasure of riding shotgun a few times in my 1200+rwhp 14 mustang, so he is also comparing to that.

Well I mean what do you expect when you say things like that on a public forum? Expect to be coddled? Go on any community and try that. I came from imports lol Considering your only experience is a Civic SI and thinking 600rwhp isnt much, I dont think we're going to be losing out without your commentary. You reinforced my assumption as truth.

His experience driving involves more then that. He has had other cars, even drove my Viper.

600rwhp is very tame and feels very slow in these 15s. I wouldn't call them a "beast" at 600rwhp by any means. He has just experienced much faster cars so his point of reference is different then most.

I understand when you have 1200rwhp cars it can see that way. But don't make a general statement. Say "compared to..." then it makes at least some sense.

bumping this thread. i drove FATHERFORD's 15 and can say that it drove much like a stock mustang, but was just faster in areas. Im not used to performance cars (when i drove it, my only car at the time was a 2014 Civic Si sedan) and if i didnt see the turbos under the hood, you couldnt have told me it was turboed.

Since driving this car i have purchased my own 2015 Mustang GT Auto and can say that after 5000 miles, it needs more power BAD. The stock 235s will not light up on a second gear hit unless its wet. any sort of tire (which you will want to do) and 600whp will seem super slow.

I will be doing a boostworks 800s kit after wheels and tires are done.
I would never come to the the conclusion that a auto GT with 3.15's is in need of more power just because it's not grabbing a bit of rubber on the 1-2 shift. Take the traction and run with it.

Don't hate cause I call it like it is.
Like it is, eh?

Yeah a $40k every-day street car with all the creature comforts that can run with or beat supercars and exotics that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars is "slow" generally speaking.

A car that is FAR faster then 99.9% of the other cars on the road is "slow" generally speaking.

Makes perfect sense
