You get: 50YR chrome grill, Tail lamp surround, rear gas cap badge, offwhite stiching on dash/door panels/seats/carpets, 50 YR stamped seats, shiny dash panel, more soft touch panels, slightly better carpets, and 50YR plate on dash.

Its kind of a lot for the money and if you look at a black premium interior with and without it next to each other it really looks a lot better in my opinion. It will also probably help on resale

Edit: I left out the obvious 19in wheel upgrade
The interior is nice. That's about all I can say about the package. PS my regular GT premium has contrast stitching on the seats. I believe exclusive is the contrast stitching on the floor mats (the dash and soft door panels are the 68b Premium Accent Trim equivalent which the 50yr package has built in). The seats with the 50 year logo and pony look nice though.

Personally, I don't like the grill and definitely hate the tail lamps with the chrome. Too much chrome and it looks forced to "jazz" up the exterior somehow.

The only exterior added part I like is the rear emblem vs the "GT" letters on the normal GT.

The rims are just so so. I like the stock 18" and the 20" option style much better of the black PP rims. They way the middle where the lugs are is filled and and then spoked; something about that just looks weird to me

This package is like the polar opposite of the Performance Package. Its thousands of bucks worth of appearance junk that does nothing whatsoever for performance. The performance pack is thousands of dollars worth of straight performance and suspension upgrades. No surprise to me that most people here are choosing the performance pack and not the 50th appearance pack. And yeah I know you can get both but what a waste of money on the appearance pack if you do, which is why most people don't.

Agree. Wish they gave us auto guys the PP too. I don't buy the oh only performance people buy a stick argument. Im sure this was done so they can release it later as a "new feature," and the manual was the test mule on the new model this year.

Albeit, you could still buy the sway bars and front Brembos if you don't care about the black wheels and get the same idea performance-wise.

The PP is a much better way to spend money than the 50th package which is all looks

Idk if $1500 qualifies as thousands. If you can afford it and you like the look why not? Its not like the roush $6000 appearance package where you are definately overspending on appearance. A nice set of wheels alone will cost you $1000

Well you have the PP wheels which are nice on Eco and GT. The 50th, eh so so looking. They're just weird with the extra metal between the spokes.

Remember that you are already paying for wheels in the car price, this is just the "upgrade cost" and no way do I think the 50th wheels are worth $1000 over stock wheels.

What you get just isn't the same value as the PP where you are getting great value for that $2400 or whatever the exact number is.

100% agreed with you on the Auto Performance Pack. That was a 100% BUSINESS AND MARKETING decision by Ford and a stupid one in my opinion. I mean the performance package for the automatic is already being produced and even puts in the 3.55 gears instead of the 3.73 the manuals get. This was a foolish Ford decision to exclude it purposely this model year. And they have lost countless added options revenue from people with autos who would have paid the option price on base and premium GTs. I would have ordered my exact car but with the added PP. Dumb business decisions.

I got the 3.55 (easy decision for $350 as gears are nornally around $200 and then installation) but would've definitely ordered the PP without a thought

Same here. Ordered really just to add the 3.55s because I couldn't find any in stock and yeah I would have paid for the PP too. I think most Auto people on these forums would have just like you see the overwhelming trend on the manual side of this forum are choosing the PP.

2015 Mustang GT Premium 50 year Ap/Pkg
Having '65 ordering 50 year AP was no brainer. Love the fake gas cap and coralled pony.

could not agree more. though the 50th anv pkg was not my first thought and somewhat accidental, I think that it was the best accidental decision of my life!

I would also add, i love the wheels, and the leather seats, and the unique plaque on the dash.

Some on here say i wasted my money, but.. i love this car.

does the 50 year AP give you the premier interior accent? it cancels it when you build one.

I ended up with the 50 AP because it was a car on the lot that had everything else i wanted, so it was either order and wait or get one with the 50AP.
