What is the quick difference between these 2 packages?

Are either not available with certain other packages?

I didnt know about 401 back in May so I ordered with 400 but some parts of package look interesting.

I am, however, afraid to change order up as it may delay it more. Finally got a 10/27 build date and dont want to mess that up.

Once you have a VIN and build date, your order is locked in and it's too late to change it.

I have a question relating to the 401a. I thought in pre production pictures we saw that the lower grille was changed due to the BLIS system. Is this still the case? On ZOmbie's GT he has the 401a, but the lower grille is the standard gt one.
Just came to me while writing this. Maybe it was the actice cruise control that does that to the lower grille.

You're confusing the BLIS system with the Adaptive Cruise Control. The ACC sensors are in the front grill, but ACC isn't part of the 401(a) package. The BLIS sensors are in the rear quarterpanels.

Like Jimmy said, it's too late to change your order now that you have a build date.

If I were you, mellowyellow, I wouldn't sweat it anyways. I actually went the opposite way. I had 401A at first, and then I realized that (IMHO), it is terribly overpriced for what you get, so I removed it from my order (before I was scheduled, of course).

I think the only useful feature is BLIS. I don't blast music in my car, and I rarely change seating position in such a way that memory seating would be important. So I'd basically be spending $1800 for a mildly useful safety feature (which can be annoying on some cars, and you may end up just turning it off, anyways). Not to mention that sub is going to add weight.

So if you're anything like me, you're better off. Just my $.02.

It all depends. I'd rather have the spotter mirrors than the BLIS system -- you lose those with 401(a) -- and I initially didn't ask for the 401(a) package. The salesman just added it on to the order sheet, presumably hoping I wouldn't notice. But once he did I realized that I really do need the uprated audio system -- I'm tired of having to keep my volume low enough to ensure I don't blow the speakers but high enough to be able to hear with the windows open.

I can't imagine that the premium (400A) sound system will be remotely so weak that you can't hear it pretty well with the windows open... Car audio systems have gotten so much better over the last several years. Guess we'll see, though.

Is there any word on the power output of both systems?

Should be in the sales booklet in the order section.

So, does adding the ACC markedly change the front bumper? Are there pictures showing the differences?

LOL, this is the problem with $1,800 packages. I have no use for the BLIS. I like the spot mirrors. And I'm more than sure the base 400A audio will be fine. I really don't like subwoofers. But I'd have paid a few hundred dollars for the memory seats. Just me.

how are the mirrors different in look? ARe there pictures comparing BLIS to standard 'spot' mirrors? I'd really appreciate a link or posted pics showing this.
